Rush Limbaugh lies about George Allen and says Sotomayor's comment much worse than "Macaca"

Rush Limbaugh tried to lie about George Allen's racist "macaca" remark that cost him his Senate seat by claiming that it was all made up out of thin air by Democrats trying to destroy him. Yeah, we just knew that Allen was waiting to utter a racial slur and call S.R. Sidarth a type of monkey, and then pounced and took it out of context. How did we do that, RushBo?
That's more lying nonsense, but then he went off on Judge Sonia Sotomayor, saying that what she said was much worse than that. What a guy that Limbaugh. I mean, this is all they have to work with and I thank you. Limbaugh is re-digging a ditch to throw George Allen back into and burying him in the process.

I think Limbaugh is feeling the heat from DenounciaRush.
Presente Action released this statement today: "Rush Limbaugh has no shame -- launching more racist attacks on Judge Sotomayor during a historic week when her credentials are on full display and our community is beaming with pride. Our elected leaders cannot remain silent in the face of these inflammatory comments polluting the public discourse. We demand that Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee denounce Limbaugh's latest remarks immediately."
Allen was thought to be the great right-wing hope to run for president in 2008, but being a racist wasn't very helpful to him now was it? Here's a reminder of what really happened to George 'macaca' Allen via The Situation Room back on Aug 14, 2006.

It's good to keep all his "people" in his little corner. They can go back and forth between Rush and Free Republic and Hannity and O'Reilly and Beck. Keep them penned in right in that little corner of non-reality. First thing yoiu say to somebody who you don't know anything about is, "Did you hear Rush today?" or "Did you see what Hannity had to say last night?" And if they answer in the affirmative or get a little excited you know to just walk away. They are not really anybody you want to talk to or know or be around. Unless they start to walk away becasue they don't want to know you for bringing up the scum. You have to be on your toes so that you can explain yourself right away if this is the case.
What has this junkie ever done for his country? What has he ever done to make life better for the people of the United States? He needs to be taught not to speak ill of his betters.

I still get pissed that three generations of my family (grandfathers in WWI, Father in WWII/Korean Conflict, and brothers in 'Nam)served with dignity and still got called racial epithets when they walk the streets, but this fat ass got out of serving because he had A BOIL ON HIS ASS.
Even Gregory Peck tried to go serve in WWII with a bad back (he was labeled 4F as a result), and other movie stars interrupted their country, including Elvis, to go and serve their country by doing their patriotic duty.
Rush is no hero. Only a coward beats up on women, and that's all he does, when he's not trying to coerce them into the sheets with his bloated, greasy ass.
It is the content of their character that drives their deeds. As I recollect, during the Macaca debacle, it was brought to light that he indeed did know it was a racial slur, because of his own mother's ethnic background.
Just like GOP party leader, Limpy, Allen is an outright LIAR. Know 'em by their character, as MLK said long ago.

When George Allen said that out in Fairfax County, the noise you heard was the collective groan from the ReThug party that one of their "best and brightest" shot himself in the foot and reloaded to keep on shooting himself right out of politics.
Even if Rush is caught with a live boy, I think he gets to keep his radio show until the FCC grows a pair and yanks his license. I would think airing threats to kill the POTUS is a valid enough reason.

Allen ASSUMED that the reporter was an immigrant because of his skin color, and aimed a racial slur at him.
Sessions ASSUMED that Estrada would have voted the same way as Sotomayor because of his ethnicity.
According to Olberman on MSNBC, only 18% of Americans believe Sotomayor is racist. Their meme is simply not working.

And this kind of warped and twisted psycho-think runs completely through to the core of the pathetic, lemming like right wing of the republican party. Perhaps he's never heard of Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, Ward Churchill, or Natalie Maines. I suppose that since a liberal's words can't be used against them, then their actions at an obscure military battle 35 years earlier can't be re-written by people who weren't there, either.
Rush is right about the macaca comment not being placed in the proper context. Macacas are, to many, probably Rush included, endearing little monkeys. Therefore Allen was being complimentary.
Either the Drugster or his listeners are so lacking in logic they fail to see that there is simply no possible comparison between the errors of George Allen, the disgraced, racist former senator, and Judge Sotomayor, whose comment about Latina women was taken out of context and without consideration to the "set" in which it occurred. Allen, speaking to a GOP support rally, used a racist slur to characterize a person of color who happened to be in attendance (and happened to be working for, or at least allied with, the opposition). "Monkey" is an old racial epithet for African-Americans; for example, those slaves allowed to work in the plantation residence were often called "porch monkeys." A macaca is a monkey. The racist overtones could not be clearer.
Sotomayor, on the other hand, was speaking to a group of students with high drop-out rates and a tendency to give up in the face of almost insurmountable obstacles to success (many thrown up by people like Allen). Sotomayor did not use a racial epithet; for example, she could have said "gringo" or something of that sort, but she was not even making comparisons. The Drugster and Sen. Jeff Sessions have a lot more in common than GOP identification. They are both unqualified, unmitigated BIGOTS. Damn them to whatever serves as hell on earth (I don't believe in the afterlife.).
